Our team was recently featured in Pond Trade Magazine's "Contractor's Corner." The article features the project we completed at the Catoctin Wildlife Preserve last Fall. We are very proud of the Kingdom Crew! This project features an advanced Aquascape Ecosystem Koi Pond with an intake bay and wetland filtration system.

OUR RESPONSE TO COVID-19 Quite unexpectantly, our lives have all changed. We are celebrating 25 years of business, and we've weathered quite a few storms: 9/11 in 2001, our son's accident in 2005, the economic recession from 2008-2014, and now a worldwide pandemic. The one thing that has always remained constant in our lives is Jesus! He is the same yesterday, today, and forever; and, we will hold on to that truth. We are "Open for Business!" Our spring season is in full swing, and we are looking forward to getting back in shape physically after our winter hiatus. New for 2020 is our 2020 Ford F-450 4x4 Super Duty truck. Yes, we replaced our old extended cab work truck with a crew cab. Matt and Michael are happy to have more leg room.

It's hard to believe that we are getting ready to start another season in a New Decade, but even more amazing is that we are celebrating 25 years in business. When we started Kingdom Landscaping in 1995, we were in the midst of having babies and raising children, and now Tom and I are grandparents and facing a new season, called "empty nesters." HOW IT ALL BEGAN... In July 2019, our offices received a phone call from Mary Anne Hahn, owner of the Catoctin Wildlife Preserve, which is located in Thurmont, MD. Mary Anne explained to us that they were experiencing problems with their current Koi Feeding Experience Exhibit at the zoo. She asked if we could come by and take a look.

Kingdom Landscaping once again had the honor of having several projects chosen by EP Henry photographer, Andrew Ludewig, to be professionally photographed for possible inclusion in the EP Henry 2020 catalog as well as being featured in the gallery section of the EP Henry website. Currently, the Kingdom Landscaping crew has installed six EP Henry paver patios in the Penn National Resort Community located in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania. The photoshoot focused on four of those hardscape projects...

Two things that we can count on during the Mid-Atlantic Spring season: Rainy Days and Weeds! We all know that we need the rain to make things grow in our gardens, but I sure wish we could exclude weeds from the equation. Don't you? If you're like me, you would prefer not to use a harmful poison--like RoundUp--to eliminate weeds, especially if you have children and/or pets that play outside. Here's a recipe for a safe alternative.

2019 EP Henry Product Updates Here’s a quick snapshot of some of the product changes and improvements that you will notice in the new EP Henry 2019 catalog. Discontinued Products The Devonstone line of products has been discontinued and replaced with a new and improved product line. Personally, I’m glad to see the Devonstone line disappear, because we had had a few issues with the wall caps on one of our jobs, and we stopped recommending this product to customers.
